Heidenheim, Germany, October 28, 2026. With the launch of the BaseLayer Pro concept, Voith expands its proven portfolio of polyu-rethane roll covers for the press section. The enhanced design of BaseLayer Pro provides customers with additional operational se-curity while maintaining the excellent dewatering and runnability performance for which Voith polyurethane roll covers are well known. The result is a roll cover solution that combines proven per-formance with a higher level of durability and safety – even in the most demanding papermaking applications.

Increasing demand for high-performance press covers
