High-performance refiner fillings for energy-efficient stock preparation

Voith’s PluraMaze represents a new generation of refiner fillings designed to improve energy efficiency, component lifetime or refining results in stock preparation.

These refiner fillings are based on a patent-pending, labyrinth-like geometry that optimizes the flow of the fiber suspension in the refining zone. By significantly reducing internal backflow, PluraMaze drastically lowers no-load power and minimizes energy losses.

The innovative bar design increases effective edge length

The innovative bar design increases effective edge length, enabling more efficient, low-intensity refining. At the same time, improved feeding and higher wear volume contribute to stable operation and longer filling lifetime.

Available in three variants, the perfectly fitting PluraMaze refiner filling type can be selected according to your specific operational priorities – whether the focus is on energy savings, lifetime or improved refining results.

With PluraMaze, we were able to reduce no-load power by more than 30 percent compared to the previous filling, which has a direct impact on our energy consumption. At the same time, the process runs more stable, and we achieve more consistent quality of the final paper.

TheWall

Efficient fiber treatment through a unique design

The innovative design of the disperger filling TheWall ensures uniform distribution and feeding of the pulp. The rotor – equipped with feeding vanes and strategically arranged distribution teeth – drives this efficiency. The unique design with its partially closed tooth gaps allows operation of the filling with a gap width between 0.5 to 8.5 mm, preventing untreated fibers from passing through. TheWall also lowers energy consumption while improving the dispersion of dirt specks and stickies.

Combining the disperger filling TheWall with the newly developed Voith disperger InfibraDisp and the Compact Dispersion System yields superior results. In addition, the filling is available for all current Voith dispergers and selected models from other manufacturers.
